  Hippocratic Oath I was watching the extras on a DVD I bought recently, and one thing hit me; the hypocrisy of Chinese doctors. The eight tenet of the Hippocratic Oath states - I will prevent disease whenever I can - as prevention is better than cure - yet, the medical sector of China  has created the greatest killer known to mankind, not only that they developed mutations. The plague and the Spaish flu epidemic of a century ago were caused by living condions and rats.

Anthrax- the hidden menace. One of the reasons I am not concerned over the Coronavirus is I know there is a far deadlier menace in the land of the UK . I am not talking about ordinary anthrax  which is curable and can be controlled; I am talking of a genetically mutated variant that has no cure and cannot be controlled once it is released into the air. Back in the days of the Cold War with Russia, when there was a threat of Communism, the scientists at Porton Down worked on a virus that could kill. To this day, no antidote has been found, there are hundreds of canisters buried on disused airfields around the Coventry area, what used to be called "Little America. They are buried deep underground, but time rots the canisters and seepage occurs, all it needs is a small quake and the cans will split.  I know about this because in the 70's I used to read science magazines; this is not one of my science fiction stories, though I was tempted to include it, this ...

UK to ban 5G from Huawei It has been announced that the Huawei 5G is being phased out in the UK.  China is recognized as one of the main sources of cybercrime in the world, and to my mind I am still not convinced the Coronavirus outbreak is not part of a greater plan to bring the West to its knees. The whole coronavirus outbreak connected too well with the 5G acceptance in the EU to make me feel that it was NOT planned. More news about how China is attacking the West. Last year (2021) they sent hundreds of giant hornets to infest the UK bee hives, and this year (2022) they have sent thousands of venous spiders to Europe . I am in agreement with Donald Trump 's decision to ban Tik Tok as a security risk; I think all apps from China should be banned for this reason.

Going for a walk I could go for a walk as the exercise I would get could keep my right knee from becoming useless through inactivity, and the fresh air would help the state of my mental health . If I get stopped by the police doing their job, and they do not consider my exercise worthy, I could be facing a £60 fine. My problem is that because my left ankle has no strength I need to put more and more pressure on my right knee to remain mobile.  As the Royal Air Force forgot about me for over two years, after I applied for an EPV to enable me to have some mobility, even if I had no money to go out, and now Bristol City Council is doing all they can to delay the building of a shed for the EPV, before long it will be too late for me. My life . Going into self-isolation is nothing hard for me to do/cope with as I have little money after paying bills, other than going to the hospital once a month I have not left the house more than once a month in the last two years. Yesterday, 8th September, I went for my first walk in months, not because of the Coronavirus policy but because my disability makes standing painful. I have been fighting a growing inability to walk for years, so I am sure a virus will not take me down, yet.  As my youngest daughter says if we had been infected with my health problems I would be dead by now.

Ban hunting wildlife . One good thing that has come from the Coronavius crisis is the ban on fox hunting until further notice, in the UK. I have always been against hunting wildlife, it serves no purpose other than to keep the wealthy occupied. The lie the rich tell about the hunt providing jobs is so far beyond a farce to be laughable, they don't buy anything from the shops or give a service to the area. The only people who do well are the breeders, and surely it is better to let the bitches live a happy life rather than force them to breed. Two years ago when I was having a lot of aggression from my stepson, on a nighttime I'd go out into the park near us and sit in the dark watching the vixen playing with her cubs. In a time of anger it was nice to enjoy the sight of foxes playing.

A train crash on the route to Kyiv . The  Coronavirus that is going around the globe reminded me of something that happened many years ago, near  Kyiv in Russia . At the time, I used to listen on the short wave band to messages from all over the globe, even religious broadcasts from America. This one concerned two trains heading across Russia, one was going into Kyiv, and the other leaving the city. There was a report that they were carrying toxic nuclear waste when they collided; naturally, nothing official was said.  This incident lead me to write a short story about such a train crash, and the extent the government would go to keep it quiet.

Resident Evil . I realize that as a writer, I need a vivid imagination, but to me, there is a similarity that is hard to ignore. The story begins in a laboratory in a far east city called Raccoon City - the name sounds a lot like Rangoon . The ensuing panic caused cities to go into lockdown, we have done that, not only with cities but countries. Soldiers on the streets, that is happening in Bristol , I can't speak for anywhere else. Civilization breaks down and people kill for food, we are well on the way to that stage with all the panic buying that is happening.  I don't think the world will turn into a mass of flesh-eating zombies but who can tell?

The destabilization . of Western Economy. The Coronavirus threat , I think, has been designed as a means to destabilize the economy of the Western world.  The economy in Europe is heavily linked to the world of Soccer , as this is where the largest crowds gather.  If you get people to believe that staying away from football grounds will lessen the risk of the virus spreading, you will cause a massive amount of economic damage. Tomorrow night, Manchester United will play Lask from Austria behind closed doors; this means there will be no food sold at the match, no programs sold, and souvenirs will be sold either. The match is probably being held as travel arrangements were made weeks ahead of the time.  The clubs that will be affected the most will be those like Manchester United, Liverpool , Juventus , Roma , A.C.Milan,  and those who usually could be relied on to go far in the European competitions. A years delay. Last month, I should have gone to hospital for my annual cancer scan, as I expected with the Coroanavirus outbreak other appointments were put on the back burner.  I am not surprised I didn't have my appointment as after a four-hour scan and two biopsies last year, all the specialist could tell me is I have a growth on my right kidney. If it had been serious I would have been called in, but obviously the growth is not dangerous. My policy is Let sleeping dogs lie . We know I have the growth and as of now notihng is happening. I can see the point of view that it should be taken out, in case something does happen, but I'd rather leave it be- remember the monologue by Stanley Holloway about Albert and the Lion .

How to break the law and spread the Coronavirus. The next time you want to go on about Boris Johnson or his family spreading the virus by traveling, think again. This week, farmers in Kent are for thousands of people from Poland to be flown here to pick fruit, not only flouting the Stay at home and Save the      NHS  policy but risking the spread of the coronavirus .  While I can see the point in one way, this is a no-win policy, the farmers have paid for the flights, the people will need food and housing, so how can the outlay come to close to income?
