The Good Old Days
The Time Traveler Some people viewing my list of buys from eBay would be confused. The reason is instead of seeking new films, I am searching for films from India that go back beyond the time I was born (1956). I am not saying I enjoy all of them, or that modern films do nothing for me. I find the older films more interesting as they are films with music, rather than music with a film as so many of the modern films are. Some things don't change, even if you change the country, such as the plight of the farmer trying to eek out some subsistancs from the land while the land owner makes them work longer for the same pay. The plight of the fishing trade is the same, you need a flat area to lauch the boats, but this exposes your homes to the wind, and sea. Also, no matter what age, a fisherman has to fight the raging seas. It is a tough, and dangerous life, that is why it was a "closed shop" for so long.
