All Saints Day
Trick or Treat I have always thought we should celebrate All Saints Day ( November 1st) rather than Halloween . Halloween is one Americanism I would happily forget. I watched an episode of Will & Grace where the father told his children not to eat too many sweets as he didn't wish to spend his money on dental fees; I didn't realise how true this was until recently. For a long time, a dentist was regarded as a failed doctor ; I stopped going to the dentist for medical, rather than financial reasons, but seeing the prices dentists charge health care will soon be a thing only the wealthy can afford; back to the Dark Ages .
