Here I am at the edge

  Out for the Christmas rush. My extended edition romance e-book  will be out this week with a surprise ending for our erstwhile lovers, as things take an unexpected turn of events.

Since the end of season 2 . Since the cliff hanger ending to season 2 of  The Witches Of East End , I have had the inkling to write some more stories for the series about the Beauchamp ladies. I have started a short story that begins after season 2 ended called The arrival of Helena Beauchamp . If there is enough interest in my story, I will continue writing it, as usual, you, the readers are in control. Sometimes, we need to bend the rules to get what we wish for, as is the case with this series as season 1 is not available to buy I am downloading it from an upload site in the UK. If the series had been available, I would happily have bought it. The upload site is okay for films but useless for series issues, not only are they episodes out of sequence for the seasons, but also for the series. Madchen Amick (Wendy) told reporters she would love to do a series exploring Wendy's darker side, I think that would go well with fans of the show.

The sleep of the Damned. I may have stopped writing e-books for sale, but that doesn't mean my mind has stopped thinking of stories to write.  My usual night involves three hours of sleep - in 15-minute spells, and hours of trying to get back to sleep while my mind creates weird scenarios for stories.

I am heading in a new direction. The editors have not said that my book    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075BJH2D2  is going to be published, but on the other hand, they have not told me it won't get released and with days to go before the deadline I'm taking that as a good sign while preparing for the bad news.

Time to relax with a good book. Unlike some authors, I don't get a boost with Christmas sales. My boost used to happen at this time of year until last year. The slump that began before Christmas 2017 continued until February this year and only stopped for a month. It's soul-destroying to be a writer and put some many months into a book that won't sell.

Jack of many genres. I have been a writer for over a decade, and I earned several reps for my work. I wonder how my readers view me as a writer? One thing I say is how you see me depends how on how long you have been reading my work. In all this time, few people have told me how they see me as a writer.

A romance in the college. A few years ago, I surprise myself by writing a  Young Adult romance  hereiamattheedgeblogspotcouk.wordpress.com/2018/05/17/a-ya-romance-from-me/    If the book had sold, I was going to extend the story, isn't that the story of my life, IF.

On a good day. When I was offered the contract last week, I told the publishing house that because of appointments to do with my  disability , the book wouldn't be ready until the end of this month (April).  As I had some good writing days and was able to press on, the book should be ready by the end of this week.

I have written romances before. With the news that a publisher is interested in publishing a romance story I wrote, it makes me wonder if this is the direction my writing will take now? I do have several romances on file from the last few years, but I thought they'd never see the light of day.
