  Khooni Mahal  This is the film I was thinking of when I mentioned a film in the poast " Banned in India 3 ." This film got banned for its scenes of sex involving little-known actresses from Pakistan . The censorship laws in India are confusing, you aren't allowed to show people being cut up, but being stabbed with a fork is fine @).

 A film about the problems of Alcoholism                       I can undrstand why this film was banned The 1934 film "Mazdoor"  was banned in India ; the reason is easy to understand. The film begins with the death of a mill owner His daughter, and drunkard son have to take over running the textile mill, but the son's antagonist treatment of the workers causes the sister to organise a strike to help the workers. After talks with her brother, she gets the workers back working, but with better treatment from her brother.

 Aakhri Cheekh After a good deal of research, and persitence, I finally located the second of the films which was banned in India during the 70s. This film was banned as the posters showed semi-clad young ladies being taken by a monster.

Modesty Prevails  T he film Janbaaz was banned in India for many years because the censors were offended by the romantic scenes between actress Dimple Kapadia and Anil Kapoor . There was another film that got banned for a while as the poster featured the image of a naked young lady being carried across a graveyard, this film was from the late 80s and is a Ramsay Brothers horror film.
