Fashion Styles of the 1980s
I am glad I was not part of the scene During the 1980s I was stationed in Scotland , I recall there was a WRAF - Women's Royal Air Force - we nicknamed (cruelly) "The Snake. The young lady could have been attractive, if many of us hadn't considered her intimidating, why? She was taller than many of us, which she made worse by wearing high heels, when she was off duty, and having her hair done up in the fashion of the day; piled up, which increased her height. I am pleased I was not part of the scene, looking back at some of the hair, and eye make-up of the time, with relation to ladies from India , I find them daunting, and not a little scary. A good example is shown her with actress Sharmilla Tagore , the lady is now in her late 70s, and still attractive proving beauty is ageless.
