 Motorcycling lost to horse racing The BBC bias goes back years; I used to love watching motorcycle racing on Grandstand , the trouble was as soon as the first three riders passed the line that was it; no matter if there was a good race in the race behind. Yet, when it came to horse racing , we had to endure what the jorse ate for breakfast, who shired the horse; the results of the last five races, and so on. Even if the there was no race behind the leaders, we had to watch until the last horse crossed the line, which could be minutes away. I accept horse racing is big money, but motorcycle racing has suffered at the expense of other sports since the early days of televised sports broadcasts.
