Flash Fiction
No room for expansion This story is as close to Flash Fiction as I have come I suppose. The problem for me with Flash Fiction, stories under 1,000 words, is that by the time you get into your story, you need to thinking of the ending as there is no room for character, or story expansion. Most of my short story selection are closer to 5,000 words than 500 words. I did try flash once, but never felt happy writing something so short.
