Here I am at the edge

I stopped hoping many years ago. Another year is almost over, and I heard the same promise of sales for my books as I heard for several years, and the same praises for my short story writing, but still no sales. Who do you believe the people who asked where to buy your books or those who did buy your books no matter how few they are? It gets bad when people you once called "friend" lie to you.

I stopped dreaming many months ago   The concept of a  dreamcatcher  is that it holds back bad thoughts, allowing you pleasant dreams.    I wish mine would stop my dreams from fading into ashes before my eyes.
