Mark Johnson had his day Months before this short story selection became an award-winner ; in 2012 I was asked by a lady in the publishing trade if I would let her put three of the stories in an anthology. The question was which to choose to convey an ongoing theme? This was the only genuine offer I have had in my 15 years as a writer.
