Living with a vegetarian
Nothing short of hell When I was stationed at RAF Lossiemouth , Scotland , I spent several months living "off camp" with friends; looking back, though the time was fun, it was also expensive as one of us was a vegetarian . I have nothing against vegetarians, the trouble we had is Alec had to have his own plates, and cutlery, and when he washed his plates it had to be in water that hadn't touched any meat products. When I look back, I think his actions must have added a third to our cost of living ; the project didn't last long as it proved tiresome when you have to cook two types of food each meal.
