Or was it suicide? The demise of Sridevi five years ago has been the subject of many theories, mostly about her possible murder, as The Queen of Bollywood was 54 when she died, and apparently in good health. At the time of her death in Dubai , she was expecting her husband to join her for their daughter's marriage ceremony the following day. The "Official" verdict is death by misadventure, as she was reported to have taken a drink before a bath, and fainted in the tub. It is now things don't add up. At the time of her death, she had taken out a life insurance policy that paid $35 million if she died in Dubai. I have never heard of such a policy that only pays up if you die in a particular city; the policy would be a waste of money, what would be the odds of being in a city when you died?
