She did jave a good start as her mother, actress Pushpavalli had the same beautiful facial features he daughter shows. However, things have not beeb easy for the icon of glamour ; when she began producers ignored her saying she was fat, and podgy,  At this time, Rekha went on a full re-inventipon of herself, and she still maintains a high standard of fitness into her mid-60s. This could be the reason two actresses, Nargis Dutt and Jaya Bachchan  aciised her of either leadng men on, or n the case of Jaya having an affair with her husband, A mitabh Bachchan .
