Rekha - the Iconic Beauty of Bollywood

 A transformed lady


To many in Bollywood, actress Rekha is the epitomy of beauty. She did jave a good start as her mother, actress Pushpavalli had the same beautiful facial features he daughter shows.
However, things have not beeb easy for the icon of glamour; when she began producers ignored her saying she was fat, and podgy, 
At this time, Rekha went on a full re-inventipon of herself, and she still maintains a high standard of fitness into her mid-60s.

This could be the reason two actresses, Nargis Dutt and Jaya Bachchan aciised her of either leadng men on, or n the case of Jaya having an affair with her husband, Amitabh Bachchan.
If you read my post The fall of the house of Bachchan, you will note that Jaya has other issues with ladies considered attractive.
Evem though Rekha is one of my favourite actresses, she can not same a bad film as this film showed -   https://hereiamattheedge.blogspot.com/2023/06/the-missing-dvd.html - I have to admit having Rishi Kapoor in didn't help the story. I am not a fan of Rishi, but in fairness, considering the film was made a decade after the Reena Roy version, the special effects are so bad they are hilarious to watch.
