Bollywood's sexism is annoying
Some of the ladies are superior to the male actors
The way Bollywood headlines it's films is both offensive, and degrading to many of the actresses
In my view, many of the actresses in the cinema in India, are equal to, if not better than the actors they appear with, but are treated as no better than a pretty face; in some cases, they are in a film so they film has some degree of selling.
In Hollywood duting its heyday, they had headlinerrs such as Clark Gable and Carole Lombard, and William Powell and Myrna Loy. Though the male lead is first, the title reads as a pair; in Bollywood, the title would read male lead, second male lead, female. By adding the comma, you are saying this person is lower in status than the person before.
In the case of Salman Khan, I find it hard to believe actresses such as Raveena Tandon, Vidya Balan, and Rani Mukerji are classed inferior.
