A tale of two aunts
They were so different
The two ladies in this short story shared one thing; they came from Irealnd, other than they were total opposites.
My aunt Alice was one of the kindest ladies I had the pleasure of knowing, she was honest, hard-working, and a very good cook; her husbamd was my Unle Len.
The other lady, aunty Kitty, was the opposite, at times she could be impolite and had a foul-mouth, in all my years of living in the North, I never knew her work a day, her husband was my uncle John.
Both uncles are mentioned in my short story - Lifeboat Heroes - which is baded on a real rescue my uncle Len took part in during his days with the RNLI.
