Big Ships Festival

 Labour ruined

When I read about the Big Ships Festivals going on around the world, my thoughts go back to when I worked for Bristol Council; Bristol held the first big ship festival in this area, but it was ruined by the greed of the Labour Party, how?
At the time of the festival the river Avon was dredfged daily by the frim of Harry Brown, they had the contract for as long as I can recall, until the 1980's when Bristol Council cancelled the contract to fill their pockets. Of course, if you don't dredge the river the mud builds up, the floods in the area have nothing to do with enviromental changes; they are down to the greed of the Labour party in Bristol. Now, you are fortunate to get a small boat in the docks, and the festival which was a big earner hos moved to Gloucester.
