Will I miss a good movie?

I could miss out on a good film about a doctor from India who helped the Chinese during the Second Sino-Japanese war in the 1940s. 
I was going to buy it from eBay, until  read he had helped Mao Zedong, the man who turned out to be the worst mass murderer in history, but who can tell what lies ahead?
