 Two films from Italy about war

Before you condemn a person for their actions, put yourself in their position; as the Cherokee proverb says, "Before you condemn me walk three miles in my shoes."

The films in the post relate to ladies who had to sell themselves to feed their children. 

The first film is called Mamma Roma and was produced by Pier Paolo Pasolini, I doubt many people know of this film starring Anna Magnani. The other film some people may have heard of as the leading lady is Sophia Loren, the film is by Vittorio De Sica, and is called "Two women."

Prostitution has a bad name, but many of the lades who are in the trade have no choice, few would wish to remain given the opportunity to leave they would.
