Snow in October?

  A distinct possibility


I realise we are in mid-October but the drop in temperature today, along with the dryness of the air does make me think it could snow before the month is out.
It did snow early in October when I was in Alberta, Canada, but our house (above) was situated on the landward side of the Rockies. Several years ago, we had snow in mid-May in the area of Bristol we used to live in.
