A reason NOT to buy a Smart car

 This is NOT Fake news

Before I write about the incident, I will say, if you don't believe me check Google news.
This may sound like one of my science fiction stories, but this did happen last week.

A car owner took his new electric car out for a drive, he was traveling at 30 mph, when he realised the car wouldn't slow down at red lights, or roundabouts.
30mph is not fast, but if you are in a car over which you have no control, I can imagine the worries. He phoned the police, who told him to take out the key and throw it out of the window; the distance from the car should have broken the connection, but it didn't. In the end, the police had to stop the car by using a heavy van, even then the car didn't stop for 100 metres.
When the drive checked the car's online record, there were apparently several pages of things which could have gone wrong.
