I apreciate beauty is a personal concept, so this is my take on the subject. This story has many similiarits between the ladies, and many differences in the men involved.

Ms. Roy who rose to fame in 1986 with the film Nagin, married Pakistan cricketer Mohsin Khan. It was obvious this was going to be a tough marriage, as he is Muslim, and lady in Hindu; it could have worked, but he wanted to live the life of a playboy like the rest of the successful Pakistan team at the time.

In the end, they seperated, and after a long legal struggle, Ms. Roy had charge of their daughter. SHe went through a rough patch and lost her beautiful figure, but she is now as attractive as she was, my opinion.

Sharmilla Tagore

On the other side of India, a marriage was made that lasted for many years.

Actress Sharmilla Tagore married Indian cricket captain Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, when Mansoot met Ms. Tagore, he was in a relationship with another actress, but he droped her to be with Ms. Tagore. Their marriage lasted from 1986 until his death in 2011.

Actor Saif Ali Khan is their son.

The Tagores are a prominent family in Bengal, and Mansoor's father was the last Nawab of Pataudi, a Nawab is a local chieftan, the title was abolished in 1971; he was the last in a long line of rukers of the state in Pataudi, a small area south of Delhi. Like many sons, Mansoor never got out of his father's shadow. He was a good cricketer, and an excellent close fielder, but his captaincy left a lot to be desired.

Comparing the ladies in the 80s, I would have prefered Ms. Roy; her hairstyle was more relaxed (she let it down), whereas Ms. Tafgore had her hair up -as was the style -, along with enlarged eye make-up, and eyelash treatemnet. I would find her attractive yet overpowering, again only my opinion. LIke Reena, Sharmilla is very attractive, even if she is in her 70s.
