I can write a novel
I have plenty of ideas for a story
Several years ago, I answered a question some of my colleagues in the writing community had asked many times - could I write a novel?
At first, the idea of writing over 40, 000 words for a story appeared impossible for me, but in the end, I only failed to achieve the goal because after two years of writing a story that started out as a short story of around 2,500 words I stopped my story at 38,000 words, but in my mind the story was not over. I stopped because I thought I'd never get the story to sell, so why continue?
I am not seeking a publisher, I could take the prospect of writing a novel as a challenge to my ability to write.
