Here I am at the edge

  The Rum Diary. My life as a writer  can be described best as a mix of two stories; the first is the Rum Diary , the story of a group of writers  waiting in in 1960's  Puerto Rico f or a breaking story to set them up with a contract  in the USA . The book  is far more entertaining than the film  with  Johnny Depp  and  Amber Heard . The second part is the tv series  Kolchak  featuring Darren McGavin  about a writer who wrote stories about the supernatural, he never got any printed as he had to destroy his evidence to escape. My early rep as a writer came as a writer of ghost stories ; my stories were entertaining because I believe in the supernatural .

  Bollywood I will be the first to admit that I avoided films from India called Bollywood as I thought they lacked quality, but this year thanks to Netflix I changed my opinion as there are several engrossing series on the site.  The only thing I do have against Bollywood is that many of the films are far too long at an average length of 2 1/2 hours; Alfred Hitchock never made a movie longer than 1 1/2 hours as he said that is how long the bladder can last before it needs to be emptied.
