YouTube subtitles
An irritation to the reader
The more videos I watch on YouTube; the more certain I am that the subtitles are done on the cheap in Asia, why?
There is a lack of grammar that almost wants me to stop watching; names are not initialed as they should be, and many are spelled as they sound, not as they are written indicating the writer has no idea what they are writing about.
I accept people cannot afford a professional, but when you get sites with thousands of subscribers, and each subscriber earns the video producer money; it does beg the question, why not pay for a subtilter?
