Protection for who?

I would like to believe people are honest, but I am sure some of the buyers of my stock on eBay are running a scam, how?

The site is not at fault, the policy of protectng the buyers, leaves the sellers open to dishonest people; I know, I am certain I have been scammed several times this year, that is why I stopped selling for months last year.
 I have to retain my belief, or what does that say about me if i believe everyone to be dishonest?
