The high price of Archaeology
Is it worth the price?
Alexandria
People will argue that you cannot put a price on history, but at some point you need to. The best example of this is Alexandria https://hereiamattheedge.blogspot.com/2022/11/alexandria.html, in Egypt. The project was to find the main street of the city, in Roman times, which they have done, the problem is, the street is 20 feet below the water table. This means the city nowhas to pay to keep the area from flooding, the pumps will need to be replaced every sim moths as they are not meant to run all day, everyday, and will burn out.
