I knew it was a scam

 Antholgy work has never helped me


Several years ago, I was offered $200 for a 2,000-word shortstory by the publisher (?) of an anthology.

From the off I knew it was a scam as the going price for a story of that length is around $20

Even though I knew it was a scam I sent in an old story, not the one shown here, to test my theory.

After monthly emails to the publisher, I asked when the anthology was coming out, to be told they "supposedly" never got my story.
