The Lord said it is better to give than to receive
Jesus said, "It is better to give than to receive."
That is one reason why I donate to charity in Israel. Also, several years ago, my family hit bottom when we were short of money at Christmas; if it hadn't been for a food hamper donated by our school, we wouldn't have had food that Christmas.
