In my opinion, there should be one film shown every Christmas-not not Mary Poppins or White Christmas.
The sad tale of "The Matchstick girl," maybe then the children will stop pestering us about the latest iPod or whatever new hit film or dvd is out and think-My Lord, how lucky we are.
The film never(!) fails to make me cry.
