Writing and being disabled
If you have read my blogs, you recall I suffer from EDS which causes weak muscle structure around the joints and one of the worst joints affected is my left wrist.
As I hate to class myself as disabled-this is not a macho thing-I am not totally disabled yet and do try to help if I can. I need to be very careful after about an hours physical work I need to stop, the reason being the wrist joint is weak and badly damaged and I don't want to end up in a cast for the rest of my days.
The support I wear most of the day is good but it comes with a drawback other than making typing awkward and that is when I sweat I get a rash on the back of the wrist.
