I posted a similar post on my other blog earlier today. My shame is not for something which I have to be ashamed of doing or not doing; my shame is that I am classed as a writer and yet fellow scribes who have contracts/ book deals and film deals which I was forced to read about have seen it fit that because they will not benefit from donating, they are ignoring my pleas to save this lovely animal.
I CANNOT afford to donate, but have. They CAN afford but refused to donate- that is my shame.
