The 90-page book that never finished

The Word

There are several questions that are connected to this science fiction story I started several years ago.

Why did I stop writing after over 90 pages?
There are two answers; the first is that I wrote more pages a week than the posts were getting readers. That is not to say I wrote a lot, but there were few readers.
The second reason was I came to the conclusion that with all the time I had put in, I'd never see a dime for my book as sales are so hard.

Is the book finished?
Far from it, I stopped writing, but I could have done more than what I had written again as the characters took hold of my life as real people. When I stopped writing, I estimated I was about halfway through my story with more stories stemming from what was the original plot.

How did I get the idea?
I was an avid reader at school; these days, books are rarely seen, and children are more ready to play online games. I had the idea from the Ray Bradbury novel Farenheit451, but I added a few twists.
