Is this the beginning of the end?

After a good days writing yesterday, I thought I deserved a little chill time. 

I have recently bought a PS3 and was looking forward to playing Assassins Creed, but when I put the game on; instead of hearing talking the only thing I could hear was a low mumbling. 

I hope this is caused by a wax build and not a sign of hearing loss caused by being in a confined space with the washing machine or tumble drier on for endless hours; time will tell.
