Salem I was watching a video on YouTube last night which amazed me. The lady on the channel said she never knew that witches were so prevalent in Europe. In her defence, she lives in the USA . I assumed most people knew about the Spanish Inquisition which killed thousands; I could understand not knowing about the Witchfinder General who lived on Suffolk. One of the most infamous trials was held in Pendle , Derbyshire .
