An archaic waste of money

Like the majority of British voters, I think it is time the House of Lords was stopped from functioning; it is no more than a group of people who get paid for doing nothing but sit on committes, in other words a Quango.

All they do is sit on three or four meeting a year, and the get paid between £150 - £350 a day for doing nothing of value. There is a lot of good that money could do, if we disband this archaic system of fleecing the pockets of the wealthy.
