In the zone
I can understand the reluctance of some people to wish to visit Israel, but I have always wanted to visit the country.
The thought that I might be in a war zone doesn't bother me. After being in the RAF as an Englishman in Scotland, on a Royal Navy base, then being in BAOR (British Army of the Rhine) during my RAF days in Germany, and finally a Protestant during "The Troubles," in Northern Ireland. I had my taste of war scenarios. That is without having a train I was on being shot at crossing the Dutch/German border and having a gun pointed at me in Munich.
