The Manitou

Mind games
Graham Masterton
For many years, one of my favourite writers was the British writer  http://www.grahammasterton.co.uk/. I was a big fan of his brand of #horror stories.

This book has a particular story to tell while I was stationed at http://www.thunder-and-lightnings.co.uk/spotting/lossiemouth.php. I lived in nearby http://www.visitscotland.com/info/towns-villages/elgin-p237701 for several months.

One night I was up late, reading and had lost my sense of time as the book is so engrossing - by today's standards - it would be classed lame. I looked at the clock on the mantlepiece and saw it was 03:00, so I decided I had better go to bed to be ready for work.

I went into my room and closed the door. I was trying to get to sleep when I heard a tapping on the window. It was early morning, I'd been reading a good horror story - I didn't consider the obvious answer - it was a tree branch in the wind.
