The latest news on "A Sailor's Love" is that it is now at 35, 818 words and over 130 pages -- great going for a short I never imagined lasting more than 5,000 words -- hopefully it should be out for the end of the month.

While I was writing the ill-fated "The Descent of Mark Johnson" for some friends, I set myself a deadline for one of the stories for October 18th, this date to many people is nothing but it is my birthday and the story was meant as a gift for my friends. Three days before the deadline -- and not a word written -- the story not only came in on time, but ahead of time; well they said I work better under pressure and nobody is better at applying pressure on me than me :)
