One call which came to close.

I had many scary moments in my RAF days.
Travelling down the motorway at 70 MPH -- in the rain -- and seeing a stalled car in your lane :0

Getting to my parent's house and finding the wheels held on by a few threads was truly scary.

Sitting half on a descending chair lift over a Rhine tributary was the worst, until this morning.

Having COPD makes breathing hard, when you add laryngitis into the bag, the mix can become too much as I found out. I could hardly breathe between coughing and choking and seriously thought the day my guardian angels had left had arrived.

I was coughing and choking for four hours and was worried my family would find me dead.
