The Third man

I came to this collection totally without a vision, never have seen the film "The third man." 

  The austerity and terror that pervaded  Vienna, was told beautifully as the citizens of the Russian sector learnt the terrors that occupied most of the Easters Blok countries up until a short while ago. 

This was the time when the all powerful Russian army held cities in terror and Mr. Greene portrays this beautifully, along with the main theme of the black market which took a hold during post WW2 Europe.
