I am trying to remember the title of a book, I think by Harry Patterson. The story is set in WW2, the Germans mock a priest by telling him that if he can carry a cross up a hill like Jesus, then he can preach his sermons.
Does anybody remember the title please?
I think Harry Patterson also wrote under the name of Jack Higgins. You might find what you are looking for there.
ReplyDeleteThanks Glynis, I have tried and although I can remember the story well. I can find no trace of it anywhere. I had a similar incident over a film I saw, but I finally cracked that one.
ReplyDeleteI know The Bormann Testament had priests in it, if that helps. :D
ReplyDeleteI keep coming back to something like The day of judgement or a fine day to die. But they were written about the IRA :(
