Bomber's moon

This is an RAF term, the meaning is a clear night with no cloud and a full moon to guide you but it has a poignant meaning for two close friends in this true story-told by Folk historian Mike Harding ( it is on one of cd's too).

Mike's father flew in the night raids on Berlin in the war. It was only years later when he made friends with a German man, that he find out that during the war his friend lived in Berlin.
